Dear Gilbert Park Families and Community!
Welcome to the 2025–26 school year! Ms. Utz and I hope your summer was filled with rest, joy, and special time with loved ones. We are excited to welcome back our students and families, and we look forward to another year of learning, growth, and partnership.
As we begin this new school year together, we remain committed to what matters most: building strong, positive relationships and providing a high-quality academic experience for every student. This year, we are placing a renewed focus on academics and instruction while continuing to create a warm, welcoming environment where all children feel a sense of belonging.
We also know this year comes with some challenges. Like many schools, we are navigating tighter budgets and staffing limitations. While these circumstances are real, they do not define us. The heart of Gilbert Park—our students, families, and staff—continues to shine brightly. With creativity, collaboration, and care, we will make this a meaningful and joyful year for all.
Our theme this year is “Growing Together,” and we believe that when we work together—staff, families, and community—our students thrive. Thank you for being a vital part of the Gilbert Park community. Your support, trust, and involvement make all the difference.
