PTA

Gilbert Park PTA is a group of caring parents who support the students and faculty of Gilbert Park Elementary. Our mission is to build bridges between families and school in our culturally rich community. We provide support and resources for teachers to enhance learning opportunities for our children through family-oriented events. We are always looking for new members and urge all parents to join. Membership dues are $9.50 for the year and allows you to vote on how PTA money is raised and spent in the school. It is also a great way to meet other parents and become familiar with the staff at Gilbert Park.

Scrip (Gift Cards) Fundraiser Program

This is a great fundraiser. You do not buy anything extra. Shop as you normally would, but use pre-purchased scrip and feel good knowing a percentage is going back to our children's school!

What is Scrip?
• Scrip is sold to you in the form of a paper gift certificate or gift card.

• You pre-pay and order by using the provided order form. This order form is turned in to the front office along with your payment.

• Scrip is ordered on Tuesdays, so all orders should be turned in by the Monday before you need your scrip.

• Scrip is available for Delivery at Gilbert Park Elementary School on Friday or it can be sent home with your child on Friday afternoon.

• The PTA receives a % of the sales. This % varies from store to store as indicated on the order form.

Additional Ways to Help Raise Money for Gilbert Park

None of these fundraisers cost you anything extra! These fundraisers continue through the school year.

General Mills Box Tops for Education
• Clip Box Top for Education coupons from your favorite General Mills products
• Place clipped coupons in an envelope and bring in to the front office.

Campbell’s Soup Labels
• If you eat Campbell’ s soup, cut off the UPC (barcode) on the back of the can and save it turn into your school so we can win great things like: books, software and classroom materials

Recycle Ink/Toner Cartridges, Drink Pouches, Chip Bags, Elmer’s Glue Sticks, Scotch Tape Rolls, Ziploc Bags/Containers and Writing Instruments (pens, sharpies, Dry-Erase markers, Crayola markers, etc.)
• Save used ink/toner cartridges, drink pouches, chip bags, Elmer’s glue sticks, Scotch tape rolls, Ziploc bags/containers and writing instruments from your workplace and home.
• Deposit the ink/toner cartridges in the toner bin in the main hall.
