Our new math curriculum is very different from past curriculums. The BRIDGES curriculum has a website that parents and students can access that has information on the program, as well as, games for students to play that will help increase math skills. The website is www.mathlearningcenter.org

I would like to welcome you and your family to Gilbert Park Elementary School. We have several programs in place that I would like to share with you:

Positive Behavior Support (PBS) - PBS is a framework for creating a positive culture where everyone understands the common behavior expectations at school. This is achieved through using a common language, teaching and modeling the desired behaviors, and encouraging and reinforcing positive choices. Gilbert Park’s three Universal Expectations are: BE SAFE, BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE. We focus on teaching what these expectations look like. We encourage you to be involved and support your child in learning and following these expectations.

Safe Routes to School - This program focuses primarily on pedestrian and bicycle safety within our school community.
